Travel: Paris!

Bonjour! There is no place in the world that is more special than PARIS! The City of Light is my favorite city (aside from my NYC of course!) and is on the top of my list of places to live in my lifetime. I was there for work last month where we shot at the most beautiful locations and some famous landmarks therefore, I definitely got a nourishing dose of the city. Every evening was spent window shopping, popping into vintage stores and fully indulging in the most memorable French cuisine, delicious wine and even more wine. Here are some of my favorite snapshots that provides a little sumthin sumthin of my lovely week. Merci beaucoup…au revoir!

My Friends Are Cooler Than Yours

Check out Free People’s “Festival Fashion” Lookbook and video where the incredible photography, video, prop styling and music were all created by my oh-so-inspiring, passionate and I-just-can’t-get-enough-of-them, friends. I love them dearly therefore I simply cannot apologize for bragging.

P.S. If you’re wondering about miss thang below, Linda Vojtova is as down-to-earth and gorgeous in person as she looks here.

White Glow

I recently styled a ‘All White’ shoot which I found to be quite refreshing. I didn’t see it necessary to distract the looks with accessories nor jewelry but instead I let the beautifully crisp, simple and flowing white fabrics do all the talking. Message delivered, don’t you think? I hope this inspires a fresh start to your week! XOXO

Dear New York

What a wonderful film made by Luis Urculo for Zara. I love the creative and fun prop styling and lovely tribute made to my one true love…New York City.

Yellow’s Back

Spring fashion is bleeding all shades of yellow. Take note from the Nolan Sisters who could easily pull off this look at present day. Let the white peep-toe heels, high-waisted straight leg pants, white boyfriend blazers, gold jewels, feathery hair and shimmy dance moves be our #inspiration this week!

Leap Leap Hooray

{Photography by Willy Rizzo)

I came across these images by photographer Willy Rizzo taken between 1954-1955 and I had such an “ahhhh” moment. I love more than to dance and I always say that if I could just dance everyday for the rest of my life I would be happy. Regardless of the fact that I’m not a trained dancer, it’s a fantasy that I’ll probably never let go. Happy Leap Day my little swans.

Three Weeks

Spring is officially three weeks away and the weather in NYC proves that we’re right on schedule (knock on wood). Open-toe shoes, twirly dresses, pony tails, sun-kissed cheeks and…popsicles.
